General Personality: Jade is a energetic girl, fun-loving girl who can be flirty without realizing it. She also loves a good fight, unless it's an argument with her friends or family.

Power(s): She's a Green Lantern so she uses her ring for multiple things. Energy balls, random weapons, shields, etc.

Background:
    Jade's mom died giving birth to her so she never got to know her which her dad thinks is why she's so tomboy.  She had a seemingly normal childhood, but with Hal being a Green Lantern he was always out helping the League or saving the galaxy so she didn't get much time with him.  But they made up for it by making sure each minute they had together was special. Hal never wanted Jade to know about his work, it put her in danger enough as it was with her just being his daughter. So he made sure to keep everything Green Lantern related as far away from her as possible.
    As Jade grew older Hal could tell that she was becoming more and more curious about his work. She'd go snooping behind his back, looking for something out of the ordinary, questioning why he wore his Lantern ring all the time. Ironically enough Green Lantern was her favorite superhero at the time. When she was 14 Hal finally decided to leak out his secret, he knew the risks, but he figured it was better for her to know in case she was kidnapped, or in danger.  Of course, she freaked out and begged him to show him everything about being a Lantern.  She was always so strong-willed, like her father had taught her.  Not long after finding out Jade decided that she would follow in her dad's footsteps and somehow become a Green Lantern.  When her dad said no, she started her training in secret, watching her Dad's training sessions, modeling herself after him, non-chalantly asking her Dad things about what it means and takes to be a hero, which Hal wanting to be a good role-model unintentionally taught her all about being a hero. One summer, when the Green Lantern Corps lost one of their own, his ring appeared to Jade, deeming her worthy.  And since Hal didn't have much of a choice in her decision, he took Jade on as his apprentice, and she named herself the Jade Lantern until the day she succeeds her father as a Green Lantern.
    So Jade works with Hal as his protégé on Earth (though she would've preferred to protect the whole galaxy, they're working up to it) and also is apart of the Team.  Actually she's Co-Leader of the Team alongside her good friend Aqulad.  Not long after she started working with Hal in Coast City she ran into Green Arrow and Roy for the first time. Upon their first meeting, she and Roy Harper saw each other as competition instead of allies, but as time went on they worked together more and met Kaldur, Robin, and Wally. The five of them have been inseparable ever since, always keeping contact no matter where they are. Jade and Roy especially are very close, the best of friends, and maybe more?
